about

Recorded December 2012

While not a superb or even noteworthy effort, this EP represents everything that I learned in my first year of producing noise music. Though it's far ahead of last summer's rather poorly-conceived "Economics" EP, I can't help but feel that I've progressed significantly as a composer since this was written. I have a tendency to hate my work if I sit on it too long, no matter what area it's in.

The main idea of this EP, if one can be found, is society's deification of production at the expense of humanity, based heavily on Derrick Jensen's "The Culture of Make Believe". Take from it what you will.
